Embroidery Cards by Papaver Studio

These great cards look amazing when embroidered. They are designed to put creativity in your hands. Now here is a card you can keep forever. I would frame it too!

To Embroider: lay card open on a stack of paper (or a foam mat) and punch out holes using a large needle about 1/8 of an inch or less apart following the grey lines. If you want to get fancy, follow the black ones too. Then using a smaller needle and 3 of the six strands of embroidery floss, back stitch through those holes following the grey lines. Ta da, you've made a card!

Don't have embroidery thread or needle? We've got you covered!

Teeny Tiny Plants

The weather has been a wee bit bipolar lately and maybe it's just because the gardens need water. Large buckets of water at any given time. I brought these little plants in the store and I hope they like it here. Fingers crossed. They are so darned cute! The cactus gets to stay at home to remind me of the Southwest.

We love these reusable sandwich/snack pouches by Mosquito Lodge. All pouches are made out of cotton with a rip stop nylon lining and a velcro closure. Wash in cool water and dry on low setting. No more disposable plastic bags baby!
Sweet cotton iTouch covers with a soft lining that cleans finger prints and smudges. Each cover has an ID/credit card pocket on one side and an earbud strap on the other. Too cute!

Sweet Treat

I have some sweet treat catching up to do. Seriously. My little guy picked out this big Ginger Molasses Cookie and took a bite (bottom left) before it's portrait was taken. Stinker! He had this silly crooked grin that gave it away! It's a boy thing, right? It was so soft & chewy. Yum!
Nothing like a Mocha to warsh it down.

Fused Glass House

Rachael Foss and Kirk McLaughlin use the inherently vibrant colors of glass to evoke a tapestry of contrasts. Their fused glass jewelry catches the light, teases the eye, and when wearing it, you should be prepared for compliments. Each piece is like a vibrant painting and of course, complete eye candy!

Octavine Illustration

Cara Buchalter's (Octavine Illustration) goal is to construct a world of retro images based on the Art Deco form; classic silhouettes of sleek sophistication. All the moleskin journals carry hand-painted original illustrations by Cara herself. Cara's journals are super handy and small enough to tote everywhere. They are fabulous for writing down the lyrics to your favorite song(1999), or mom's recipe for meatballs.

It was so soft and chewy.

Rainy Days: Random Thoughts

We are making up for the beautiful sunny weather we had last week! Dark, gloomy days make the shop look bright, warm and inviting. We also have new neighbors on our block. One is a sweet wine bar and the other is a mystery. I'll investigate... On another note, I had to take a shot of these "dorks r hot" earrings:) I agree.
