We gave our A-frame a cleaner look recently and painted over the old version. Recycling our old displays and fixtures saved a huge chunk of change. Not to mention a carbon footprint. Metro Paint and the Rebuilding Center are on the top of our hardware list.

When people come to Splurge they zone in on the fun and brilliant work of Suzanne Keolker's Mugwump label. She makes wallets, purses, bags, hair accessories, billfolds, and the list goes on! I hear the excitement in their voices when they find a paint buy number purse or a Monopoly game board bag. I loved this gentleman's reaction when he couldn't resist the Astro turf laptop bag!
Use, re-use, recycle.

Yed's dad, Victor (pictured in the cap), helped so much with all the painting and dismantling. Erin's mom, Sarah, also stepped in to help move our merchandise out -while she was here on vacation! Even Yed's brother Ralph came by and worked a shift. That was very sweet of them. Thank you! We will be open this Wednesday, October 21! Finally! To all our fans that stopped by to shop during the redux--Thank you for your patience and support;) It's been a long 10 days...We're excited!

Leah Pellegrini makes mobiles large and small. She is one of our favorite Portland artists. Her talent is boundless, her energy is limitless, and...
The TV camera loves her too...
You can buy her work at Splurge (after the remodel).

I see twinkles in little girls eyes when they catch a glimpse of the collection of Peri's Ponchos available at Splurge. Their Momma's will later comment on how their daughters will never take them off- even at bedtime! So sweet! The perfect gift for that little cutie. This chilly weather makes these ponchos simply irresistible.
